Pip & Pantalaimon is one woman (me, Philippa) and my collection of vintage sewing machines, fancy scissors and specialist lingerie fabrics. I’ve paired my high end lingerie training at Made By Niki, where we created artisan lingerie to be sold in Selfridges, Harvey Nichols and Luisa Via Roma, with my obsession for sewing and creating beautifully made lingerie and P&P is the perfect outlet for my creativity.
In the past I have held some stock, but now most pieces are made to order just for you. The way I see it, if I’m going to be cutting, sewing, trimming and packing each piece just for you, I may as well make you exactly what you want! Any because I love sewing lingerie, and want to make you exactly what you want, there is no extra cost for custom orders.
For very minor customisation, there is a little white box at checkout marked ‘special instructions’, you’ve very welcome to add any requests here such as
*shorter bra straps
*no side boning in bra
*lower cup bra padding
*discreet packing
This is also the best place to add your measurements for any corselettes (but don’t worry if you forget, I’ll email you to ask for them)

The majority of custom orders are colour/fabric swap, and these often turn out to be my favourite orders to work on.
Below is a lovely custom set, the brief was ‘Pink Cupid set but with leopard print instead of the dark pink, keep the pale pink mesh, and sew with black threads’. The result here is something beautifully unique and made just for this customer.
I quite often share images of custom work on instagram, where you can have a browse for inspiration (if you would prefer that I don’t share photos of your custom order, I totally understand- just let me know).
You may also want to consider a custom order if your measurements fall outside of the standard size range. Send me an email and I can advise if a custom size would be best for you.

Things that aren’t possible
*Because I don’t charge anything extra for custom orders, it’s not viable for me to create whole new styles as a one off.
*Please don’t send me photos of other brands pieces and ask me to recreate them.
